Ferry bakery to close

Martins Ferry — Tina’s Sweet Celebrations announced that it will be closing on June 3.
Tina Koller, owner, said that she is selling the bakery due to personal reasons.
Tina’s Sweet Celebrations features doughnuts, cookies, cheesecakes, cakes and cupcakes. The small business also specializes in wedding and occasion cakes and cookie bouquets.
The bakery serves more than just baked goods. It also serves homemade soups and sandwiches, chicken, pasta and macaroni salad.
The bakery first opened in Martins Ferry in 2016 as a small local business with only five employees.
Koller began her baking career when she managed the bakery department at Giant Eagle in Bridgeport for 18 years. Koller first started her own bakery about 13 years ago from her home using Facebook as a way to reach customers before putting her roots down in the former convenience store building.
Tina’s Sweet Celebrations is open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is closed on Sunday. The bakery is located at 819 S. Zane Highway.
The business does not deliver, but customers can call the bakery to place orders for pickup. For more information about the bakery or to place any final orders, call 740-738-0636.
