At 11:09 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to an address on Mt. Pleasant Pike in Martins Ferry after a 911 hang-up call was received. Upon arrival, the deputy reported that it was an accidental call and all was well.
At 3:58 p.m. Sunday, a man flagged down a deputy along National Road in Bridgeport because he was locked out of his vehicle.
At 3:54 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Colerain Pike, Martins Ferry, reported car keys had been stolen. Nothing appeared to be missing, according to the report.
At 2:16 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Barton Road reported hearing a loud explosion in Barton. A sergeant patrolled the area but did not contact anyone who could confirm that an explosion was heard.
At 11:24 p.m. Saturday, an officer responded to a request for assistance from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. An officer patrolled the area of Interstate 470 west from Ohio 7 for a truck and trailer with an open side placing metal on the roadway, according to the report. The officer did not locate the vehicle.
At 11:19 p.m. Saturday, an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 north in Martins Ferry detained and then released male driving a vehicle with temporary West Virginia plates. The man was released with a warning for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
At 10:59 p.m. Saturday, an officer on a traffic stop on Mall Ring Road, St. Clairsville, near Ferguson’s House of Furniture issued a warning to a West Virginia motorist for no lights.
At 10:09 p.m. Saturday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 215 issued a warning to an Ohio motorist with expired tags.
At 3:49 p.m. Saturday, a caller from Ohio Coatings on Tin Plate Place in Yorkville reported that three unidentified men entered the building and "caused criminal mischief inside, including throwing burritos on the floor and breaking a ceramic pig."
