Unified Bank welcomes Shelly Carenbauer

MARTINS FERRY — Unified Bank recently added a new Commercial Banking Executive to their ranks.

“Shelly Carenbauer is a positive addition to our Commercial Lending Team, whose experience in commercial business lending and commitment to the community make her a great fit for Unified,” Everson added.

Carenbauer has worked in the banking and finance industry for over 16 years. She has developed positive relationships with a growing corporate client base and is a trusted advisor to government and not-for-profit entities. She received her degree in business marketing from West Liberty University, her Master in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University, and graduated from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in 2019. She is also a graduate of the West Virginia Leadership Class of 2022.

Carenbauer serves on the Executive Board for the YWCA of Wheeling, is Chair of the Board of Governors for West Virginia Northern Community College, and recently joined the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra board. Originally from Cameron, she and her husband, David, reside in Wheeling, WV. In their free time, they enjoy traveling and supporting local community events.
