EAST LIVERPOOL — Hill International Trucks is proud to announce that it acquired Truck Sales & Service Inc., which includes five dealership locations across Eastern and Central Ohio, on Sept. 1.

The locations in Canton, Mansfield, Marietta, New Philadelphia and Norwalk are full service International Truck, IC Bus, and Idealease dealerships.

Prior to the acquisition, both dealer groups were among the oldest in the country. Truck Sales & Service is the seventh oldest International truck dealer in the country, representing the truck brand for 90 years, while Hill International Trucks has been in business for 126 years, but offering the International truck line for 84 years and ranking as the ninth oldest International truck dealer. As Hill International Trucks takes control of this new territory, local customers can rest assured that they will not be losing the “family company” feel they enjoyed with Truck Sales & Service.

One of the most exciting aspects of this acquisition for Hill International Trucks is the inclusion of an IC Bus franchise, International’s bus manufacturer. Hill International’s Parts & Service Departments have been serving numerous bus customers for years, and now the company will be able to provide these customers with the buses they use every day.

With this acquisition, Hill International Trucks operates a total of 10 locations between the International Truck, IC Bus, and Idealease franchises. In addition to those dealerships, the company also owns six NAPA Auto Parts locations and one Ford dealership. Hill International Trucks is proudly a MAC Trailer dealer, which allows it to sell new MAC trailers. In 2023, Hill International Trucks was awarded with the “MAC Millions” and “MACnificent” awards by MAC Trailer for outstanding performance.
