On Sunday the American Legion Riders from Post 366 Flushing chapter present a check for $9,000 to the Thomas Freedom Tree at Thomas Auto Centers, which helps local veteran families during the Christmas season. The riders held a poker run with 100 percent of the proceeds going in support.
