Woodsfield Police Department make drug arrest
WOODSFIELD — According to a press release from the Woodsfield Police Department, the department received information around 7 p.m. on Friday about a local fast food restaurant employee using narcotics in the public restroom.
Officers arrived on the scene and started their investigation. They discovered that employee Susan Dennis, of Woodsfield, had allegedly used cocaine in the public restroom at the restaurant.
According to the press release, “Upon searching the restroom, officers recovered suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Officers reported that cocaine residue was also located on restroom appliance surfaces.”
Dennis was arrested and transported to the Monroe County Jail, where she is being held on charges of possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
