Piles of bricks are all that remains of the former Belmont County Home. The exterior boiler house was taken down first, followed by the county home. The former Belmont County Sanitary Sewer District building, adjacent to the home, is about half gone. The ground is expected to be cleared before Christmas to make way for a new health department building.
