ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Rich Investments Group LLC recently purchased a new location for its headquarters.

Rich Investments Group is a locally owned real estate investment company that buys and renovates properties around the Ohio Valley. The headquarters will be located at 48000 National Road in St. Clairsville, which has long been known as a park and ride location off of Interstate 70 exit 215.

Managing Member Eric Richards expects the headquarters to be fully operational within the next two weeks, despite it only having been purchased April 19. Platinum Property Maintenance based in Wheeling is contracted to help Rich Investments Groups get the location completely remodeled in a short amount of time. The building sat abandoned and unmonitored for years, which led to multiple break-ins, destruction of property and vandalism.

Rich Investments Group partnered with Middle Creek Towing of Tridelphia. Starting Wednesday, all vehicles parked at the current park and ride that are not there for business-related reasons with Rich Investments Group will be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.

“When we bought this property we had vandalism that had to be taken care of on day one,” Richards said. “Windows were completely busted out, all of the lights were torn out, the wiring was stripped out of it, the furnace was stripped down. I know a lot of people utilize this property as a park and ride, but I’m sinking a lot of money into getting this done quickly.”

In the short time since Rich Investments Group LLC purchased the new headquarters and surrounding 5 acres, with help from Platinum Property Maintenance they have pulled all of the carpet and flooring out, checked all of the wiring, painted, put a new roof on, checked the plumbing, performed landscaping, pressure washing and secured the gutters. Richardson plans on putting the new carpeting and flooring into the space this weekend.

Rich Investments Group plans to lease the unused office spaces it will have in its new headquarters after it opens to the public.
