New monster truck coming to Thomas Fest

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Ohio Valley native and professional monster truck driver Dan Agosh is set to return for a “homecoming of sorts” at Thomas Fest this Saturday.

Agnosh is from Wellsburg and is a Brooke High School graduate but is currently based in Champaign, Illinois.

Saturday marks the ninth annual Thomas Fest event, which will take place at 67791 Mall Road, St. Clairsville.

Thomas Auto Centers will be the location of the legendary Rammunition Monster Truck for one day only. This will not only be the Rammunation’s first time being driven in St. Clairsville, but it will be Agnosh’s first time returning home since he became the driver of the red Rammunation monster truck. He formerly was the driver of the Raminator monster truck, which was in attendance at last year’s event.

All fans who come out and register will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win $100,000 toward any eligible vehicle from the Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Jeep and Ram Truck brands. You can enter for a chance to win at the Rammunation’s merchandise tent at the event. The winner will be announced in 2025.

The event is rain or shine and starts at 10 a.m.

Music will be provided by Spike Man, and there will be games, autographs from Rammunation driver Agnosh, along with the Hall Brothers Racing Team and treats by Kirke’s Homemade Ice Cream and pizza by Woodfire Pizza Company for sale.

Rammunition is slated to do a car-crushing display at 4 p.m. It is a Ram truck brand-sponsored monster truck that is based on the body of the 2023 RAM Power Wagon. Ram has been an official sponsor since 2002. As part of being sponsored by Ram trucks, both the red and blue versions of the Rammunition truck and the Raminator

The entire line of Ram monster trucks is owned and operated by the Hall Brothers Racing Team, which is based in Champaign, Illinois.

The Raminator has been named Monster Truck Racing Association’s “Truck of the Year” a record-setting seven times. If you aren’t able to make it to Thomas Fest, the Raminator will be at the Pittsburgh Motor Speedway on June 22-23 at the Monsters N Megas Monster Truck Tour.
