Sheriff’s office seeks help in locating missing Powhatan Point teen

POWHATAN POINT — A teen girl from Powhatan Point went missing July 18, and her family reported her disappearance to the police.

Shyanna Rotenberry is 16 years old, according to Belmont County Sheriff David Lucas. She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 106 pounds with blue eyes.

Lucas said she has run away from her home before.

The sheriff’s office is requesting assistance from the community, as Lucas said his priority is to get her back home safely.

Anyone who has information on Rotenberry’s whereabouts is asked to call the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office at 740-695-7933.
