WHEELING — Unified Bank is building a new Banking Center on National Road in Wheeling, but the bank is not new to Wheeling or the surrounding areas. Founded in 1902 in Martins Ferry, Unified has long served as a banking leader for business and consumer customers on both sides of the river.

Unified’s Wheeling Team includes West Virginia natives Zack Blair, Shelly Carenbauer, Logan Wojcik, and Joe Neidhardt. They have all worked extensively in the Wheeling Area and are part of the Unified Team serving Wheeling, Ohio County, and surrounding communities. Though the team currently has offices in Moundsville, Martins Ferry, and St. Clairsville, they form the core of the new Unified Bank lending and cash management team soon to be working out of Unified’s new Wheeling office, now under construction on National Road.

∫ Zack Blair has more than 20 years of experience as a commercial lender and serves as Unified Bank’s Senior Commercial Banking Executive. He is a third-generation banker following in his grandfather’s and father’s footsteps, servicing the financial needs of businesses in the Ohio Valley. Zack takes pride in working one-on-one with business leaders and owners to structure their loans correctly. He offers financial products and solutions to enhance the profitability of his business clients.

∫ Commercial Banking Executive Shelly Carenbauer has worked in banking and finance for more than 17 years. She has developed positive relationships with a growing corporate client base and is a trusted advisor to government and not-for-profit entities.

∫ Though Logan Wojcik is probably best recognized for his professional singing talent, he is also a full-time mortgage loan originator for Unified Bank. Quickly becoming known as the one to call for home loans, Logan is heralded as the hardest-working mortgage loan originator in the Wheeling-St. Clairsville markets.

∫ Joe Neidhardt is a treasury management officer at Unified Bank.
