COLUMBUS — State Rep. Don Jones, R-Freeport, was honored at the recent Ohio Career Technical Education Legislative Seminar in Columbus.

Jones, who represents Ohio’s 95th House District, was recognized as the “Public Servant of the Year.” Jones, serving in his last term in the Ohio House, has been a true advocate for Career Technical Education throughout the state, a news release states.

The seminar is held every year for members of the Ohio Association of Career Technical Education, Ohio Association of Career Technical Superintendents, Ohio Technical Centers and Ohio Comprehensive and Compact Schools to meet and discuss career technical education legislative priorities with members and their legislative representatives.
