Faith leaders from around the Wheeling area will offer their spiritual support Thursday for victims of the devastating June 14 flash floods and others who have helped repair what has been damaged.

Those faith leaders will gather with flood victims, first responders, and civic leaders Thursday for an interfaith prayer service in Triadelphia. The event will be held at Liberty Distributors, located at 6015 National Road in Triadelphia, making it easier for flood victims in the area to attend.

The service, organizers said, is an opportunity for the community to gather and support one another spiritually, as it has done physically since the flood. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. but those seeking counseling or support from one of our local faith leaders, or for those who just want to talk to a faith leader are encouraged to arrive at 6:30 p.m.
