At 12:40 a.m. Tuesday, a caller from Campbell-Johnson Road in St. Clairsville reported that she and a friend were being chased by a male. The phone call dropped, and officials were unable to call back. A deputy checked the area of Ohio149, Airport Road and Campbell-Johnson Road but did not come in contact with the complainant.
At 11:44 p.m. Monday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 213 in St. Clairsville issued a written warning to an Ohio motorist for speeding.
At 10:05 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to Halloran Park Lane in St. Clairsville to assist St. Clairsville police on a call. A female reportedly with white powder all over her — possibly narcotics — was yelling near the road and attempted to flee. An emergency medical service squad was called to the scene. Officers went to the Wingate Hotel to see if another party was there. The female and an officer with the St. Clairsville Police Department were evaluated by the EMS, and both refused transport, according to the report.
At 7:27 p.m. Monday, a caller from Osaka Steak House on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville reported that a male was exposing himself. Officers responded. Dayre McLaughlin was arrested and was booked into the Belmont County Jail on a bond revocation and for failure to appear on a charge of driving under suspension.
At 8:18 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to an address on Beal Street in Bridgeport for a report of a DOA.
At 7:06 p.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Central Avenue in St. Clairsville reported that her daughter was being unruly and not listening. The mother was transporting the daughter to WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Information was taken to send to the prosecutor’s office.
At 5:12 p.m. Monday, a caller from a hotel on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville reported that someone broke into his girlfriend’s vehicle. She came out of the mall and noticed that several items were missing. An officer responded and took information for a theft report.
At 3:03 p.m. Monday, officers responded to Love’s Travel Center on Reco Road in Belmont for a report of a male out begging for money at that location.
At 12:03 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a female with a warrant was inside an apartment on Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire. The female overdosed the other night, according to the report. Deputies responded. Drugs were reportedly found in plain view. Drug paraphernalia was seized. The female was arrested and was taken to jail.
At 8:09 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on National Road near Oakview in Richland Township issued a warning to a Virginia motorist for failure to yield.
