Kroger celebrates remodeled St. Clairsville store

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Kroger is celebrating a newly remodeled St. Clairsville store after just over four months of renovations and improvements.

Located at 50789 Valley Plaza Drive, the store officially unveiled its $1.3 million renovation on Friday. Shoppers could explore the store’s updates, sample food and take advantage of grand reopening specials.

To further celebrate the grand reopening, customers who use their Kroger Plus card at the Valley Plaza Kroger Fuel Center between Friday and Sunday will reap an extra 20 cents per gallon savings.

“We’re inviting the entire St. Clairsville community to join us and experience their all-new and improved store this August,” said Scott Walling, St. Clairsville Kroger store leader. “Shoppers will find various fresh updates and expanded selections with the same welcoming atmosphere their Kroger store is known for.”

The newly remodeled 69,761-square-foot store now features many improvements, such as updates to Bakery and Floral departments, as well as new interior decor throughout the store. Additionally, the location has expanded its Pick-Up offerings for customers to get their groceries more efficiently.

Store hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with pharmacy hours 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., weekdays; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays.

The location presently employs 126 associates. Kroger encourages anyone interested in joining the Kroger team to visit jobs.kroger.com.

Kroger’s Columbus Division operates 114 stores across Ohio, Michigan and West Virginia. The Columbus Division employs approximately 18,000 associates. In 2024 alone, the Kroger Columbus Division donated more than $5 million dollars in food and funds toward ending hunger and improving our communities.
