At 1:22 a.m. Friday, officers responded to St. Patrick’s Alley in St. Clairsville on a request for assistance on a traffic stop. A female was taken to Barnesville Hospital.

At 11:38 p.m. Thursday, an officer responded to the parking lot outside of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet on Banfield Road in St. Clairsville for a suspicious group of individuals standing around. The young individuals said they all just left Planet Fitness, where they were working out together.

At 11:28 p.m. Thursday, a caller from Bellaire requested an officer regarding his 17-year-old daughter being in Glencoe with her 24-year-old boyfriend. Officers spoke with the mother and an officer from the Bellaire Police Department about the situation.

At 11:05 p.m. Thursday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol received a call about a Camaro, Mustang and Audi running at a high rate of speed (120-130 mph) on Interstate 70 racing. The caller reported that they were currently at Sheetz in St. Clairsville. An officer and a trooper responded. Several vehicles began leaving and heading to U.S. 40. St. Clairsville police were advised, but the vehicles reportedly never came into town.

At 8:45 p.m. Thursday, a caller from Willow Grove Road in Bellaire reported that he was in fear for his life. Officers responded and spoke with the male, who was under a doctor’s care for mental health issues. He was transported to WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation.

At 8:38 p.m. Thursday, an officer reported suspicious underage kids going door to door on Sharon Road in Bridgeport. The officer spoke to the kids, who were soliciting home services. They went home, according to the report.

At 7:32 p.m. Thursday, a caller from Railroad Street in Bethesda reported ongoing problems with his brother. Adult Protective Services was involved. An officer attempted to contact the individual, but was only able to leave a voice message.

At 12:38 p.m. Thursday, a caller requested a welfare check on an adult with disabilities who they felt was being abused. Deputies responded and searched the area for the male but were unable to locate him.

At 11:52 a.m. Thursday, a complainant from Horseshoe Bend Road in Belmont came to the station to report potential identity fraud. A deputy spoke with the complainant and gathered information for a theft report.
