At 11:58 p.m. Thursday, a caller from an address on Crescent Road in St. Clairsville reported that a male and his kids were threatening her with dogs. A deputy dropped the complainant off at Sheetz, the report stated.

At 11:54 p.m. Thursday, an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 in Martins Ferry issued a warning to a Nevada motorist for driving outside of marked lanes and for speeding.

At 9:48 p.m. Thursday, a deputy out of state in West Virginia reported that a vehicle almost ran into her at the WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital exit of Interstate 70 in Wheeling. Wheeling Police were notified. The female was taken into custody by Wheeling Police, according to the report, which stated that the female driver was intoxicated.

At 8:50 p.m. Thursday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that a vehicle appeared to be going southbound in the northbound lane of Ohio 7 in Martins Ferry. An officer responded, but did not locate the vehicle.

At 8:45 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported that a man and woman threatened her. The female had a key to her apartment and was taking her items out of the residence, according to the complainant. Parties were separated, the report stated.

At 6:33 p.m. Thursday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Noble Street in Bellaire issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for texting while driving and for a turn signal violation.

At 5:28 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an address on Main Street in Wheeling Township for a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol regarding two young males drinking heavily in the bar. A deputy arrived and reported that there was only one person in the bar, and the bartender did not call.

At 3:44 p.m. Thursday, multiple deputies responded to a report of a large fight involving 10-20 people at a cafeteria at an address on National Road in St. Clairsville. This was a family arguing over a deceased grandmother’s belongings. The fighting individuals left, officers reported, and the rest were allowed to stay.

At 1:26 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an address on National Road in Union Township regarding a report of an argument between a caller and her mother. An officer responded, and parties were advised to stay separated.

At 12:42 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an address on Chestnut Street in Brookside to assist Coleman Health Services with a male who would not come out of the house, according to the report.

At 10 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to an address on National Road in St. Clairsville to assist Richland Township Police. One male was detained and taken to jail.

At 8:27 a.m. Thursday, deputies were out on special detail at an address on Willow Grove Road in Pultney Township with Bill’s Towing to remove junk vehicles. Three vehicles and a boat were removed, according to the report.

At 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, a school resource officer at the Belmont-Career Center arrested a juvenile for persistent disorderly conduct, and the child’s mother was charged with domestic violence, according to the report.

At 7:49 a.m. Wednesday, an officer responded to a report of two motor vehicle accidents with one vehicle on fire over a hill in Pultney Township. The Emergency Management Agency was contacted regarding a diesel leak. The county coroner was also contacted. The fire was put out. The first accident stayed on the roadway, according to the report.

At 2:10 p.m. Friday, units responded to the Red Roof Inn in St. Clairsville. A room was searched, and drugs were located, according to the report. Officers completed an inventory sheet, and a search warrant was left in the room.

At 12:42 p.m. Friday, a deputy responded to an address in Smith Township after a 911 hangup call was received. There was static on the line, which was busy on callback. The resident advised they were having trouble on their land line, and this happens about once a week.

At 12:08 p.m. Friday, multiple deputies were out at Lowe’s in the Ohio Valley Plaza. Several individuals were detained, and money was found strewn all over the vehicle according to the report.

At 12:03 p.m. Friday, a deputy responded to South Lincoln Avenue in Bridgeport to assist Bridgeport Police with a search of a female. A K-9 was also requested. The driver of the Ohio vehicle was read his rights, and he admitted that he was there to buy drugs, the report stated. The K-9 gave a positive indication on both cars. Drugs were plainly visible on the seat of the Ohio Vehicle. Officers transported two males to the Belmont County Jail.

At 10:48 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to Denny’s Restaurant on Red Roof Lane in St. Clairsville to assist interdiction units. Deputies transported one female to jail.

At 10:19 a.m. Friday, a deputy was out at an address in the Francis Wallace Apartments on 41st Street in Bellaire for an eviction. The eviction was completed, the officer reported.

At 10:15 a.m. Friday, a deputy was out with a disabled vehicle on Ohio 7 in West Wheeling. The driver secured his load and was on his way, according to the report.

At 9:54 a.m. Friday, a deputy responded to an address in Union Township for a report of a vehicle that was abandoned in front of the house sometime overnight. The vehicle had no license plates and had rear end damage. The vehicle identification number was registered with an Ohio vehicle owner, according to the report.

At 9:28 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to Bellaire Elementary School on Pike Street in Bellaire for a report of a female with mental issues. At 9:50 a.m., the female was going with a squad. No threats were made, according to the officer, who performed a walk-through at the school.
