SHADYSIDE — St. Mary’s and St. John’s Parish will be having their festival FROM 5-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17.

The festival will be held at St. Mary’s Church, East 40th Street, Shadyside.

Eli Lambie and the Mojo Kings will play 7-10 p.m. on Saturday. Charlie Tansek and the Chicago Tradition will provide polka music from 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

There will be food, beer, wine, the bands, inflatables, and an auction. There will be face painting on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a 50/50 drawing on Sunday.

Chicken dinners will be available from noon until 5 p.m. Sunday, or until sold out.

The cost for chicken dinners are $10 for a dinner and $12 for a whole chicken.

This year credit and debit cards, as well as cash will be accepted.
