At 11:48 p.m. Wednesday, a caller said her boyfriend was supposed to pick her up from Candlewood Suites and had not done so. Officers were able to get her in contact with Wheeling Police to help transport her to where she needed to go. An officer transported the female to Gumby’s on Wheeling Island, according to the report.

At 10:59 p.m. Wednesday, an officer responded to a report of domestic trouble at an address on Maple Street in St. Clairsville. A caller said she dropped off her son’s 17-year-old girlfriend, and the child’s grandmother started screaming at her. The caller was concerned about the welfare of the girl and her younger sister. The officer spoke with both parties and got permission from the juvenile’s mother to transport her to a friend’s house. Child Protective Services was contacted.

At 10:31 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy assisted Martins Ferry Police with a disabled vehicle on Ohio 7.

At 8:16 p.m. Wednesday, units on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 east near mile marker 213 in St. Clairsville issued a warning for an equipment violation to a Missouri motorist.

At 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, a complainant from Provident Road in St. Clairsville came to the station to report a scam. He was advised to delete the phone number and contact the Social Security Administration.

At 6:04 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy responded to an address on East High Street in Flushing for a report of two males coming from behind the building with yellow vests going in and out of the Convenient Food Market. An officer checked the area but did not locate the individuals.

At 6 p.m. Wednesday, several officers responded to an address on Sand Hill Road in Bellaire for a report of an Alzheimer’s patient who was not on his medication and was breaking windows out of his car. A sergeant requested an emergency medical service squad. EMS had the male and was taking him to the hospital, according to the report.

At 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy on a special detail on Hillview Avenue in Pultney Township performed a welfare check on a female. A caller reported that she had not heard from the female in over a month. The officer made contact with her, and she said she would contact the caller.
