At 11:30 p.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Main Street in Morristown reported that a male had stayed in his residence for a while helping fix up the place. The caller kicked him out for stealing, but the male came back, broke a lock on the residence and would not leave. He did go outside the residence, was knocking on the windows and then left, according to the caller, who just wanted a record of the incident.

At 11:21 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Public Road in Yorkville after a caller from Brooke County complained of a custody issue and an inability to reach her son or his father for three days. Jefferson County authorities were also on the scene. The address on the incident report was on Buena Vista Drive in St. Clairsville.

At 11:20 p.m. Monday, an officer accompanied a female inmate from the Belmont County Jail to Trinity Health System’s emergency room in St. Clairsville after the inmate reported experiencing chest pains.

At 10:54 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to the Pilot Travel Center on Belmont-Morristown Road for a report of a two-vehicle accident with property damage only. Information was taken for a report.

At 8:39 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious truck on private property in Florence on Main Street, Martins Ferry. The truck reportedly had a running van loaded on a trailer, and no one had been in or around the vehicle for 45 minutes. Units responded. A deputy spoke with the registered owner of the vehicles, and the property owner agreed to the vehicles being there, according to the report.

At 8:15 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Main Street in Bridgeport to assist Bridgeport Police on a call about a male with a knife arguing with coworkers at Papa John’s Pizza, the report stated.

At 7:47 p.m. Monday, a deputy transported a male inmate from the Belmont County Jail to Trinity Health System’s emergency room in St. Clairsville after the inmate reported experiencing chest pains.

At 7:44 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a female was arguing with and pointing a knife at an individual at an address on Hall-Boston Road in Barnesville. The caller denied that there were firearms on the property. The suspect and victim left together on a dirt bike, according to the report. The officer attempted to make contact with both parties, but was unsuccessful. The caller was advised on how to obtain a civl protection order.

At 6:57 p.m. Monday, an officer on a traffic stop on National Road in St. Clairsville issued a written warning to an Ohio motorist for failure to signal.

At 6:36 p.m. Monday, units responded to Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville for a report of an assault. According to Sheetz security, four females were fighting at that location. A second call was received stating that one of the females who was assaulted was in the CVS parking lot in a vehicle. All parties denied emergency medical service. Information was taken for a report.

At 4:13 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a possible domestic disturbance at an address in Pease Township. The female called back and stated that she did not want police and that it was a verbal dispute only. She stated that the male left, and she just wanted her belongings. A deputy gave the female a ride to Bellaire.

At 4:11 p.m. Monday, a deputy responded to Walmart in the Ohio Valley Plaza, St. Clairsville, to help identify a shoplifter.

At 1:49 p.m. Monday, a deputy reported that while traveling on Willow Grove Road near Huddock Hill Road, he traveled off the right side of the roadway, resulting in minor damage to the front passenger door. A dent was observed, and the bottom door paneling was falling off, according to the report. A supervisor was contacted, and a crash report with the Ohio State Highway Patrol had to be completed.

At 1:03 p.m. Monday, a school resource officer at Barnesville Elementary School on Flat Rock Road in Barnesville requested a deputy regarding a complaint that was referred to Child Protective Services. The deputy spoke with a CPS supervisor and took information for a report listed as a juvenile complaint.

At 12:58 p.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Summit Street in Bethesda reported that a male kept texting her and showed up at her house. She had two dates with him in July, and she was now seeking a civil protection order that she would like to have on file, according to the report.

At 12:54 p.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 470 east near exit 3 in Pultney Township issued a warning to a Pennsylvania motorist for following too closely and for speeding.

At 10:46 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a special detail performed a walk through at Bellaire Middle School on Bellaire-Neffs Road in Bellaire.

At 10:04 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a special detail at Pine Lake Trailer Court on National Road in Morristown served an eviction notice to an individual.

At 12:58 a.m. Monday, central dispatch reported that Bellaire Police were fighting a subject on Guernsey Street in Bellaire. Several units responded. Deputies assisted in handcuffing the subject.

At 8:30 a.m. Monday, students at Powhatan Elementary School on Mt. Victory Road in Powhatan Point approached a deputy to report an incident that had occurred on the previous day in Powhatan Point. They reported an alleged threat involving other students. Units from the Powhatan Point Police Department responded to and handled the original incident, according to the report. The school principal was notified and made aware of the situation.

At 7:02 a.m. Monday, a deputy followed EMS on a transport of a prisoner to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital. The deputy also transported the prisoner from the hospital back to jail.

At 12:51 a.m. Monday, an officer responded to Belmont Heights Apartments on Blaine-Chermont Road in Bridgeport for a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, the officer reported that no loud music was heard, the report indicated.

At 12:40 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to Martins Ferry to assist Martins Ferry Police on an active domestic in which a female had a knife, according to the report.
