At 11:45 p.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on the Interstate 70 west ramp at mile marker 213 in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist with temporary tags for improper display.

At 10:57 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a suspicious vehicle was down by the gates toward the agricultural buildings and the Carnes Convention Center at the Belmont County Fairgrounds on Roscoe Road in St. Clairsville. Officers patrolled the area, but did not locate the vehicle.

At 8:18 p.m. Monday, a caller reported that a wayward dog was found. Contact was made with mall security at the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville, and the owner of the dog was located.

At 5:10 p.m. Monday, a sergeant responded to The Village Network on National Road in Bethesda for a report of a 17-year-old male who ran away from the facility. The male went back with the staff after the sergeant arrived.

At 3:49 p.m. Monday, a deputy was out at Hawthorne Suites on National Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a suspicious couple trying to check into multiple places, refusing to provide information. The female of the couple appeared to be drugged or intoxicated, according to the report. A deputy responded and patrolled the area, but did not locate the couple.

At 3:34 p.m. Monday, deputies were out at Kroger on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville investigating an employee theft issue.

At 11:56 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on National Road in Bridgeport issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for failure to yield to a turn.

At 11:13 a.m. Monday, a sergeant dropped off evidence at the Wheeling Police Department on Chapline Street in Wheeling for a rape case, according to the report.

At 10:31 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 south in Pultney Township issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for distracted driving.

At 9:20 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Colerain Pike in Bridgeport issued a verbal warning to an Ohio motorist for driving outside of marked lanes.
