At 10:57 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an address in Pultney Township to assist Bellaire Police on a call regarding a subject possibly with a knife. Units met in West Bellaire, where police advised they did not need deputies to respond to the residence. Deputies cleared.
At 9:56 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Allegheny County 911 requested a welfare check on a male at an address in Union Township where the male’s phone was pinging at a residence. Deputies checked the area but did not locate the male.
At 9:51 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Mead Township reported that a suspicious male was walking down the road and fired three shots. Several units responded and spoke with multiple people. One residence was searched with the resident’s permission. The incident was deemed unfounded, according to the report, and officers cleared the scene.
At 9:44 p.m. Sunday, a deputy on a traffic stop on National Road near Interstate 70 exit 215 in Richland Township issued a verbal warning to an Ohio motorist for a tail light violation.
At 9:41 p.m. Sunday, a sergeant on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west on the ramp from Marion Street in Bridgeport issued a verbal warning to a motorist for a traffic offense.
At 6:43 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Warren Township reported that his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend was driving past his house. A deputy gave him information on how to apply for a civil protection order. The nature of the call record was listed as threats or harassment.
At 4:18 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address in Goshen Township requested advice about a neighbor/family dispute pertaining to inherited property. The complainant was looking into obtaining an attorney and securing a civil protection order.
At 12:29 p.m. Sunday, a deputy was requested at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet on Banfield Road in St. Clairsville, where an emergency medical squad responded to a medical emergency. A female in need of medical attention needed to be transported to the hospital, and she had her grandchildren with her. Other grandparents were on their way. At 1:24 p.m., the children were with their grandparents, according to the report.
At 10:20 a.m. Sunday, a caller from Oak View reported that a 15-year-old male was assaulting staff. Deputies were requested to remove him from the facility. Officers responded and collected information for a report. The child was taken into custody and transported to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 5:52 a.m. Sunday, an officer responded to a call from the Ohio State Highway Patrol requesting assistance with a motor vehicle accident involving a deer on Interstate 70 east near mile marker 211 in Richland Township. All airbags were deployed in the vehicle, which sustained front-end damage. Emergency medical service was not needed, according to the report. The vehicle was removed from the roadway, and the OSHP arrived on the scene to handle the report.
At 3:59 a.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near mile marker 218 in Richland Township issued a warning to a motorist for speeding.
At 12:17 a.m. Sunday, a caller from Steak and Shake on Valley Frontage Road in St. Clairsville reported that a co-worker poured salad dressing on her vehicle. A deputy responded and reported that Steak and Shake would handle the incident internally. The nature of the call record was listed as vandalism.
At 10:25 p.m. Monday, a caller from Somerset Township reported an ongoing issue with a motorist driving a vehicle recklessly up and down the roadway, using his driveway to turn around. A deputy responded and took information about the complaint.
At 8:18 p.m. Monday, units responded to an address on Patterson Hill Road in Bellaire for a report of a verbal domestic situation. A female complainant was advised to get a temporary protection order.
At 7:07 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a well pad worksite on Willis-Smith Road in Barnesville for a report of an employee with a firearm. The company did not want the firearm on the site. The employee was terminated, and the gun was given back to him off of the property.
At 5:32 p.m. Monday, units responded to Recon Oilfield Services on National Road in Bridgeport for a report of a hit-skip accident with property damage only. Information was taken for a report.
At 3:08 p.m. Monday, a deputy went to the Bel-Morr Shur Fast on Belmont-Morristown Road to inform a homeless man that the store did not want him out in front of the store and to move along.
At 12:20 p.m. Monday, an officer responded to a call from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources about four pheasants shot and tossed into a ditch on Colerain Road in Bridgeport. Photos were taken of the pheasants, and information was to be passed on to the game warden.
At 11:44 a.m. Monday, a deputy responded to an address on Virginia Street in Bethesda for a welfare check on a female.
At 11:41 a.m. Monday, a deputy on Airport Road in St. Clairsville reported that no one was inside a parked vehicle on the roadway. A male was located and was advised to move the vehicle.
