At 11:31 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported that a sibling was acting strangely. Units responded to an address on Adolph Street in Bridgeport. The male went with a squad to the hospital.
At 10:55 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Blaine-Chermont Road in Bridgeport reported a missing property deed. Units responded to investigate the complaint.
At 9:51 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Elder Avenue in St. Clairsville reported that his neighbor was driving a skid steer up and down the street. A deputy made contact with the individual. The male advised he was done for the night.
At 6:36 p.m. Sunday, a caller from Northwest Street in Flushing reported a stolen vehicle. A description was given, and deputies stopped the vehicle. Contact was made with all parties involved, and it was determined that the vehicle was not stolen, according to the report.
At 5:29 p.m. Sunday, Barnesville police requested assistance with a male who was reportedly blocking a female in his driveway on Warren Avenue in Barnesville. Deputies responded. The male moved his truck, and the female left.
At 4:53 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to the area of Buffalo Wild Wings on Ohio Valley Access Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a hit-skip motor vehicle accident. The other vehicle left before the officer arrived. The deputy got a description of the truck and reviewed security cameras. Photographs were taken of the damage, and information was placed on file.
At 3:03 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Second Street in Lafferty said his son was trying to slash tires on a vehicle outside. The child was gone prior to the officer’s arrival. The complainant did not want to file anything, according to the report. He said he would look into a youth program for discipline.
At 2:25 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to an address on Elm Street in Brookside for a report of a 911 hang-up call. Everything was fine at the address, the deputy reported.
At 9:37 a.m. Sunday, central dispatch reported that a loose dog attacked a male near a residence on Beech Spring Road in Martins Ferry. A dog warden also responded, taking the animal and taking information for a report.
At 3:30 a.m. Sunday, three juveniles came to the station to report a suspicious male at the front gate of their property on Reservoir Road in St. Clairsville was seen at 3 a.m. The male did not enter the property, according to the report.
At 12:50 p.m. Sunday, a male called Jefferson County authorities stating that he was kidnapped at gunpoint. The caller said he managed to escape on Deep Run Road in Pease Township in the area of Ohio 7. The caller provided his name and stated he was taken in a white Dodge Neon. Jefferson County told the caller to call 911 to get a ping. However, no 911 call was placed. Belmont and Jefferson county authorities searched the area and used a drone to do the same, but the male was not located.
