At 10:13 p.m. Monday, an officer on a traffic stop on Crescent Road in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for failure to dim headlights.
At 9:23 p.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Crescent Road in St. Clairsville reported that her neighbor came onto her property and was looking in her windows. An officer responded and spoke with the neighbor. The officer reported that this incident is related to long-standing neighbor issues here.
At 7:20 p.m. Monday, the fire department requested assistance with a garage fire on Plainfield Road in St. Clairsville. The homeowner advised this was a controlled burn of an old structure, according to the report.
At 8:53 p.m. Monday, a 911 hangup call was received from an address on Beal Street in Bridgeport, an address which had a history of domestic calls, according to the report. Upon callback, a male stated that everything was fine. The female at the residence was taking a walk, and the male did not need anything further, the report stated.
At 5:51 p.m. Monday, a sergeant on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 east near St. Clairsville issued a warning to a Pennsylvania motorist for driving with no tail lights.
At 5:32 p.m. Monday, a deputy was out on Cumberland Run Road in St. Clairsville checking the area for a stolen truck. The truck was located, and it was unoccupied, according to the report. The vehicle was towed and was placed on hold for the registered owner, the report indicated.
At 5:19 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a call about a juvenile being unruly at an address on Graham Road in St. Clairsville. The juvenile yelled at the father and left the house to take a run, according to the report. The juvenile was still at the house when officers arrived. Officers took information for a report.
At 5:01 p.m. Monday, a caller from Lucasburg Road in Byesville reported that a truck was stolen from an address on Lude Road in Belmont. The vehicle was subsequently recovered and towed.
At 3:43 p.m. Monday, a caller from Union Local High School on Belmont-Morristown Road reported that her younger sister was being threatened at the school. A deputy obtained a written statement from the juvenile and the legal guardian.
At 1:16 p.m. Monday, officers on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near mile marker 203 issued a written warning to a New Hampshire motorist for speeding.
At 9:43 a.m. Monday, a caller from the Village Network on National Road in Bethesda reported that a juvenile took off from that address. A deputy responded and located the male, who was taken to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 9:04 a.m. Monday, a caller reported that his two vehicles had been broken into overnight at an address on Northwest Street in Flushing. However, he noted that only loose change had been stolen from the cars. The caller also indicated that no damage was done to either vehicle.
At 6:48 a.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Wood Street in Flushing reported that both of her vehicles were entered and their contents were searched, but she did not report anything stolen at this time.
At 5:49 a.m. Monday, a caller from an address on Wood Street in Flushing reported that a wallet, vapes, cigarettes and a pellet gun were stolen from his truck. The vehicle was parked in the caller’s driveway overnight. Information was taken for a theft report.
At 2:50 a.m. Monday, a caller from the Pilot Travel Center on Belmont-Morristown Road reported that an unresponsive male was found in the restroom. Several units responded. The male became responsive after authorities arrived. He went with an emergency medical service squad.
At 1:02 a.m. Monday, a caller from McDonald’s on Belmont-Morristown Road reported that a suspicious male was walking around the building asking for food. The male appeared to be “on something,” according to the caller. An officer responded and checked the area, but did not locate the male.
At 11:16 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address on Pogue Road and National Road in St. Clairsville after a caller reported that she had a verbal argument with her mother, and her mother kicked her out of the car. A deputy patrolled the area and located the caller. The deputy took the female to an address on Willow Grove Road.
At 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, an officer responded to an address on Valley Plaza Drive for a report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage only. Information was taken for a crash report.
At 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to the Village Network on National Road in Morristown for a report of two females who had a fight. One of the subjects may have gone out the front door, the report indicated. One female was detained and was transported to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 6:23 p.m. Tuesday, an officer was out at the Village Network on National Road in Morristown, where a juvenile with a warrant out of Clermont County was taken into custody. The male juvenile was transported to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from an address on Pogue Road in St. Clairsville reported that her 17-year-old son ran away about an hour ago while she was sleeping. A deputy responded, and a be-on-the-lookout advisory was issued. A sergeant checked nearby businesses and checked with the St. Clairsville Police Department and a couple of residences. The male was not located. At 8:01 p.m., Moundsville Police sent a confirmation that the juvenile turned himself in at their station. The teen was transported to the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office and then was transferred to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 3:43 p.m. Tuesday, an officer responded to a report of a fight at the Dollar General on Pike Street in Neffs. The caller denied EMS but wished to pursue charges, the report stated. The Sargus Juvenile Detention Center was contacted, and information was taken for a report.
At 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Guernsey Street in Bellaire issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for speeding.
At 12:36 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to an address on Uniontown-Flushing Road for a report of a dog on the property that may have been abused. The dog warden was also contacted and responded to that location. Belmont County Hoof and Paw was also contacted. Officials also attempted to contact the other party, according to the report, which listed the nature of the incident as neighbor trouble.
At 2 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to East Richland Christian School on Friends Church Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a breathing but unresponsive juvenile female in the bathroom. At 2:05 p.m., officials reported that the female was now responsive.
