At 5:44 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the Bridgeport Police Department for a report of an unruly juvenile. The juvenile was picked up by a family member, according to the report.

At 1:40 p.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near mile marker 219 in Richland Township issued a verbal warning to an Ohio motorist for driving with an expired operator’s license.

At 12:35 p.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on National Road in St. Clairsville near CA House reported that a truck and trailer were full of trash, and there was no visible license plate. A warning was issued to the Ohio motorist for improper transport of tires, the report stated.

At 11:31 a.m. Monday, deputies responded to an address in Colerain Township for a report of a female juvenile who locked a male out of the house. The caller went over to the house and knocked, but the female would not allow entry, according to the report. An officer responded.

At 11:54 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville near Starbucks issued a warning to a Pennsylvania motorist for failure to yield.

At 10:24 a.m. Monday, officers responded to an address in Mead Township for a report of a DOA. The coroner was notified, and a family member was contacted. A detective was notified, according to the report.

At 9:59 a.m. Monday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 west in St. Clairsville issued a verbal warning to a Virginia motorist for driving with expired tags.

At 9:23 a.m. Monday, a caller from an address in Pease Township stated she was checking on her neighbor, but he was not answering the door, and the dog was inside barking. The male lived alone since his wife passed away, according to the caller. Deputies responded for a welfare check. The caller attempted the front door while deputies were on the scene, and it was unlocked. The female caller went inside to check on the male, and a deputy went in after her to get her out of the house. The caller found the male in the bathtub, according to the report. The male requested that everyone leave and shut the door on the way out. This was done, the report stated.

At 7:58 a.m. Monday, an officer on a traffic stop in Interstate70 west near mile marker 222 in Pease Township issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving habits.

At 7:50 a.m. Monday, a complainant from Washington Township submitted an online report regarding identity theft. At 2:10 p.m., the complainant called and spoke with a deputy. The caller reported that her 18-year-old daughter had a Capitol One credit card mailed to the residence, but she never applied for it. There was no loss of currency at this time, according to the report.

At 11:21 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from an address in Richland Township reported hearing a loud boom and someone screaming. According to the report, the caller and an individual were arguing, and a subject had a knife and lacerated his arm. The subject refused treatment by the squad. The male was pink slipped and was being transported to Trinity Medical Center in St. Clairsville, the report stated. Deputies also responded to the hospital. The nature of the incident was listed as a mental issue in the report.

At 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on the Interstate 70 westbound on ramp at mile marker 208 in Richland Township issued a warning to a Kentucky motorist for driving with no headlights.

At 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, a caregiver for a 55-year-old female at an address on Virginia Street in Bethesda reported that the female was hallucinating and was refusing to go into the house or to the hospital. At 11:02 p.m., an emergency medical service squad responded to transport the female to the hospital, and the sheriff’s office was advised to disregard.

At 10:39 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on High Ridge Road in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for a stop sign violation and for improper display.

At 10:38 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Love’s Travel Center on Reco Road in Belmont reported receiving threats via text message. The caller did not want to pursue any charges. He advised that he may file for a civil protection order at a later time.

At 10:22 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from the Hampton Inn on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville reported that someone smashed the mirrors on his truck. An officer responded. The officer stopped by Buffalo Wild Wings to see if they had video footage of the vandalism. Information was taken for a report.

At 10:06 p.m. Tuesday, a detective on a traffic stop on National Road East in St. Clairsville near America’s Best Value Inn issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving with expired tags.

At 9:08 p.m. Tuesday, multiple calls were received regarding a male yelling for help at a location in Richland Township. At 9:45 p.m., the male was located. He stated that he was being chased by a dog. A female advised she and the man had a verbal argument earlier, but she wanted the male to stay there for the night. Parties were advised to call if anything else happened.

At 7:37 p.m. Tuesday, a caller from Applebee’s on Valley Frontage Road in St. Clairsville reported that a male was arguing with the manager and refusing to leave. Nothing physical took place. The male left in a gold Jeep before deputies arrived.

At 7:27 p.m. Tuesday, an officer on a traffic stop on the Interstate 70 westbound ramp in St. Clairsville at exit 218 issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving on a closed road.

At 7:17 p.m. Tuesday, an officer was out assisting the Ohio State Highway Patrol with traffic going the wrong way up the Interstate 70 westbound ramps at exit 218 in St. Clairsville because of accidents around the 217 mile marker.

At 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, an officer responded to an address on Goshen Township for a call about two females and a friend being chased by two males wearing hoodies and ski masks. Deputies patrolled the area but found nothing.

At 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, a detective on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 sound near 26th Street in Belaire issued a warning to a West Virginia motorist for driving with expired tags.

At 6:04 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Aetna Street in Martins Ferry issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving outside of marked lanes.

At 11:34 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy was out at an address in Mead Township while an eviction was taking place. Individuals were packing their bags and vacating the premises, according to the report. The people were evicted and the locks were changed.

At 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Washington Street in Bellaire issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving with expired plates.
