MOUNDSVILLE — Three trailer homes were destroyed by fire late Wednesday in the Georges Court neighborhood in Moundsville.

None were injured in the blaze that began about 11:15 p.m. The Moundsville Volunteer Fire Department along with firefighters from Roberts Ridge, Fork Ridge, Limestone, Glen Dale, Sunset Heights, McMechen and others all responded to the scene.

All three trailers were on fire when firefighters arrived. The tanker task force was activated due to issues with nearby fire hydrants.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
