WHEELING – The Capitol Theatre in Wheeling promises to be brimming with love and music on Feb. 12 when the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra presents Endless Love – an evening of love songs.

The Pops concert will feature a variety of heartwarming favorites and will welcome guest artists Shayna Steele and Chester Gregory. The two world-class vocalists have both dazzled audiences on Broadway and beyond, and they will lend their talents to the symphony orchestra’s pre-Valentine’s Day musical extravaganza.

WSO Executive Director Marc Zyla noted that everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this special concert, but noted that the weekend event will make for a perfect evening for couples.

“I think it’s going to be a great opportunity for folks in the Ohio Valley to build a really nice date night right before Valentine’s Day,” Zyla said. “We’ve got the top-notch Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, we’ve got two amazing Broadway singers coming in, too. If there’s a love song, it’s probably on this particular program.”

Endless Love aims to heat things up in the dead of winter and offer an escape from the weather for a fun – and possibly romantic – night out.

“As a person who has a partner, I’m always looking for creative date nights, and I think this might be a good one,” Zyla said.

The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra’s Endless Love concert is presented by the Presutti Family, with additional support from The Motowners and McKinley Carter Wealth Services. The Pops series is sponsored by WVU Medicine, and the WSO Capitol Series is sponsored by WesBanco.

“Obviously, arts and culture are super important for the community, and WesBanco recognizes that,” Matt Drahos of WesBanco said. “We’re founded here, we’re headquartered here and we’ll support it any way we can.”

Show time is 7:30 p.m. For tickets and additional information, visit wheelingsymphony.com.

“What better gift than to bring a loved one here and show them a great show in one of the longest running programs in the valley,” Drehos said.
