At 10:13 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an address on Crescent Road in St. Clairsville for a report of a fight between two individuals. This was a verbal argument between a male and a female.
At 8:48 p.m. Thursday, units responded to a report of multiple juveniles fighting at the Village Network on National Road in Morristown. A deputy transported one female to the Sargus Juvenile Detention Center.
At 8:44 p.m. Thursday, a caller from the Super 8 motel on Matthews Drive in St. Clairsville reported that a female was smoking and he wanted her to be removed and trespassed. An officer responded and reported that nothing criminal was going on.
At 8:14 p.m. Thursday, a caller from an address on Boyd Avenue in Bridgeport stated that a 14-year-old male came to her house because a family member told him to leave. A sergeant responded to the residence of the juvenile’s aunt. Child Protective Services was contacted.
At 7:13 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported possibly spotting two runaway juveniles near the Post Office on Main Street in Barton. A deputy responded and patrolled the area on foot.
At 6:44 p.m. Thursday, an officer on a special detail assisted a caller who needed to get belongings from an address on South 16 Road in Barnesville.
At 6:23 p.m. Thursday, a caller from an address on Green Street in Belmont reported that a male was in her driveway making threats. An officer responded. The caller said they just wanted a record of the call and did not want to file a report. She said she would like officers to tell the male not to have any contact with them. The officer observed that the complainant and her companion were both intoxicated. The officer responded to an address on Lynn Avenue. Parties were advised to stay away from each other and to have no contact.
At 5:03 p.m. Thursday, officers were on location at an address in Powhatan Point to serve warrants. Individuals were detained. A large amount of drugs were located in one individual’s room. A dog warden was contacted. Jenna Rachelle Trigg was arrested and booked on three counts of failure to appear on theft charges and possession of drugs.
At 1:56 p.m. Thursday, a deputy was out with a semi that broke down in the slow lane of Interstate 470 at mile marker 3 in Richland Township. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was on the scene.
At 7:38 a.m. Thursday, an officer responded to a report of a hit-skip motor vehicle accident at Love’s on Belmont-Morristown Road. The officer searched for the vehicle at a nearby gas station, but it was not located there. The vehicle was later identified, and a crash report was filed, the officer indicated.
At 6 a.m. Thursday, the Belmont County Jail requested a deputy for a report involving an assault.
At 1:36 p.m. Thursday, a disabled vehicle was reported, parked in front of an address on Barton Road in St. Clairsville. An officer responded.
