At 11:40 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a report of an intoxicated male fighting with a caller’s husband at an address on Fourth Street in Glencoe. One male was taken into custody for obstruction and disorderly conduct. The family did not want to file charges, according to the report.

At 10:09 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a son-in-law and mother-in-law in a physical domestic situation at an address on Belmont-Warnock Road in Belmont. The female denied emergency medical service assistance. All parties were separated. No one had any marks, according to the report, and everyone was refusing EMS. No one wanted to press charges, according to the report.

At 9:12 p.m. Sunday, deputies assisted units from the Bellaire Police Department on a call regarding a suspicious vehicle on Noble Street in Bellaire.

At 8:03 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on the Interstate 70 east off ramp at mile marker 215 in St. Clairsville issued a verbal warning to an Ohio motorist for driving with expired tags.

At 5 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Somerton Highway in Barnesville reported that her father was threatening her. She said he kept talking in her ear and threatening to turn off the power. According to the report, the father was attempting to make his daughter do the dishes. His 21-year-old daughter did not want to do the dishes. No threats were made, and nothing physical occurred. The daughter left to go to her mother’s for the night.

At 4:59 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a special detail performed a welfare check on an individual at an address on Industrial Drive in Bridgeport. The individual was contacted, and all was well, according to the report.

At 4:50 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Willow Grove Road in Bellaire reported that a suspicious male went into his daughter’s vehicle. Nothing was taken. The vehicle was secured, and the keys were removed. A deputy made contact with the vehicle owner and obtained a description of the male. The deputy located the male and identified him in case there were any further issues in the area, the report stated.

At 4:50 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on National Road in Morristown reported that she heard fighting in a nearby apartment. Deputies responded. There was no fighting, just people drinking and playing music. They were advised to keep it down.

At 4:37 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported that a suspicious female was sitting on a guardrail on Maple Avenue, and the caller requested that someone check on her. A deputy checked the area, but did not locate the female.

At 4:36 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 in Bellaire issued a verbal warning to an Ohio motorist for driving with an expired registration.

At 3:59 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Clark Avenue Extension in St. Clairsville reported that her ex-boyfriend was outside her house while she was at work. She said he was not welcome there and had no reason to be there. She wanted the incident documented.

At 3:35 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Fishers Lane in Glen Dale reported that two dogs were in the middle of Central Avenue in Shadyside near the ramp to Ohio 7. Officers requested that deputies check the area. They were unable to locate the dogs.

At 1:17 p.m. Sunday, a male resident of Cumberland Point on Bannock Road in St. Clairsville was reportedly throwing things and broke a window. Deputies responded, and the male was transported via squad to the hospital.

At 10:54 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported that a suspicious vehicle was sitting in the roadway at Bel Haven in Bellaire. A deputy responded. The vehicle was being moved upon their arrival.

At 2:04 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Shaver Hill Road in Shadyside requested a welfare check on a male who left the residence. Officers searched for his vehicle on Ohio 7 but did not locate him. Officers went to the address to speak with family members, who reported that a verbal argument had occurred, and he left. Units from the Martins Ferry Police Department were later out with the vehicle at a place of employment. A deputy responded. The male noted that he was dealing with major family issues, but would be fine, according to the report.
