ST. CLAIRSVILLE – Papa D’s Pizza will now call 110 West Main Street home.

Owner and operator Quinton Crosby said that the move from its former location at 52171 National Rd E. makes sense because the new location is bigger and in the heart of Mainstreet instead of at the end of it.

“We’ve kind of always been on the wrong side of town, just by that red light at a busy intersection,” Crosby said. “The parking was a huge plus and then just being an actual part of Main Street instead of being at the end.”

He added that the new location is not only a better location but is bigger, nicer and more professional looking.

“This new location is on the busier side of town comes with much better parking – no more squeezing into tight spots or worrying about where to pull in near the busy intersection,” Crosby posted on Papa D’s Facebook page. “We’ve heard your feedback loud and clear over the years about the parking challenges. We hope this move fully addresses that for everyone.”

He added that he believes the new location will provide him an opportunity to better serve the community.

“The new space will let us keep doing what we love – making your favorite pizzas. While expanding significantly to make it even more convenient and comfortable for you to stop by, grab a bite or call in an order for pick-up,” Crosby said. “We’re especially excited for all of the Main Street events put on by our great small business community and can’t wait to be right in the heart of it all.”

He added that through the change in locations, Papa D’s St. Clairsville location was only closed two days with its recently opened Morristown location picking up the slack.

“We found that a lot of people just called Morristown and hopped over there which was really cool,” Crosby said.

The new location also comes with slightly adjusted hours. It will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 3-9 p.m. on Sundays.

“We’re really thankful for our customers in general, having two [locations] has really helped, because we’re hitting such a large area,” he said. “We found with Morristown that once you get more resources you can hire more help and things like that. I was always maxing out down there, open to close seven days a week, all of the time. And hiring some additional people has been helpful. And we have really good staff now, but still pretty close knit, and it’s real easy to work together.”

Just like the Morristown location, the new storefront will serve Kirk’s Ice Cream in two sizes. The small single cup portion is $3.99 and the large tub is $12.99.

Crosby added that the ice cream cups sell really well at the Morristown location.

“We’re interested to see how much we could sell especially with the main street events – everyone walking around, you grab a bowl of ice cream and especially if it’s in the hot summertime. We’re hoping that a lot of these businesses that sit around here in the daytime get lunch and have some ice cream.”

The new location will continue to offer delivery services in house as well as utilizing third party delivery services such as DoorDash.

Crosby said that due to being right in the heart of Main Street, he plans to attract the lunch crowd by offering special lunch deals from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
