Friends and family will join together at the Continuous Care Center at Wheeling Medical Park on Saturday for a milestone Valentine’s Day celebration – the 100th birthday of Florence Hull, a beloved local resident whose life has been filled with love, laughter, and resilience.

Born on February 14, 1926, Hull has witnessed a century of history, raising a family, contributing to her community, and inspiring generations with her wisdom and warmth. Her centennial celebration will take place on the second floor Activity Room at the Continuous Care Center at Wheeling Medical Park, where friends, family, and neighbors will honor her legacy with festive decorations and some good food.

The event will highlight Hull’s favorite traditions, including sharing stories from her childhood, enjoying her favorite foods, and reflecting on her motto: “Live long and love deeply.” Guests will enjoy themed decorations, heartfelt speeches, and activities for all ages, making the day as memorable as the woman herself.

“I feel so blessed to reach this milestone surrounded by the people I love,” said Florence. “Valentine’s Day has always been special to me, and celebrating my 100th birthday makes it even more meaningful.”

As Florence enters her second century, her story reminds us of all the power of love, family, and perseverance.
