At 11:18 p.m. Thursday, a caller from an address on Fuller Road in St. Clairsville reported that a firearm was stolen from her house, and she believed her estranged wife took it. At 11:27 p.m., she reported that her firearm was located.

At 8:24 p.m. Thursday, an officer on a traffic stop on Bethesda-Belmont Road in Bethesda issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for a traffic violation.

At 7:20 p.m. Thursday, a sergeant responded to an address on Dunn Road in St. Clairsville to perform a welfare check on a male. All was well, according to the report, which stated that the male was to be seeking treatment.

At 7:13 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported that her 10-year-old son was tearing up the house at an address in Martins Ferry. A deputy spoke with the mother and the child. A report was to be forwarded to Child Protective Services.

At 7:06 p.m. Thursday, a complainant from an address on Pigeon Point Road in Barnesville called back to report that phone harassment and threats have not stopped. A deputy spoke with the complainant and obtained information for a report. The information was forwarded to the Zanesville Police Department.

At 6:48 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported that two males were arguing at an address on Methodist Ridge Road in St. Clairsville. One of the males had multiple warrants out of Belmont County. An officer and a K-9 were out at the address, but did not locate the male, the report indicated.

At 3:45 p.m. Thursday, units responded to an address on Church Street in Colerain for a report of a possible DOA, which was confirmed. Hospice care was on the scene, according to the report.

At 1:35 p.m. Thursday, a complainant from an address on Meadow Avenue in St. Clairsville came to the station to report a violation of a temporary protection order.

At 1:27 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious male in the area of Columbia Hill Road in Wheeling Township claiming to be a window salesman. An officer patrolled the area, but did not locate the male.

At 1:10 p.m. Thursday, a detective on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 northbound near Interstate 470 in Pultney Township was granted consent to search. One male was detained. Crystal residue was found in a cup holder, and a small amount of suspected drugs was found, the report stated. The material was being sent to the lab with charges pending. A warning was issued to the motorist for driving outside of marked lanes and for speeding.

At 10:36 a.m. Thursday, a deputy on a traffic stop on 33rd Street and Plum Alley in Bellaire issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for a turn signal violation.

At 9:54 a.m. Thursday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 216 in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a New York motorist for improper display and driving under suspension. The vehicle was parked at the bottom of Ohio 9 awaiting a valid driver.

At 9:38 a.m. Thursday, a detective on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 westbound near mile marker 213 in Richland Township issued a warning to a Virginia motorist for passing on the right.

At 9:26 a.m. Thursday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near the Ohio Valley Mall in St. Clairsville issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for driving outside of marked lanes and for following too closely.

At 8:19 a.m. Thursday, a caller from an address on Reco Road in Belmont reported that a mailbox was vandalized. A deputy responded and reported that there was no damage to the mailbox, however there was damage to the post. A deputy requested surveillance video from neighboring businesses, the report indicated.

At 3:14 a.m. Thursday, a deputy on a traffic stop on Barton-Blaine Road in Barton issued a citation to an Ohio motorist for driving under suspension. Bill’s Towing was called to the scene. A hold was placed on the vehicle, and the deputy gave the male a ride.

At 9:30 p.m. Sunday, units responded to an address on Lombardy Heights in Bridgeport on a request to assist Bridgeport Police on a domestic call at that location.

At 8:57 p.m. Sunday, a caller requested a welfare check on a 16-year-old female at an address in Barnesville. A deputy responded, spoke to the juvenile and her parents. This stemmed from a falling out between the juvenile and the caller, a 14-year-old online friend from Maryland, according to the report. The juvenile showed text messages between them, which showed the online friend telling her that she was sending police to her residence. No threats were made. The officer advised central dispatch that future out-of-state calls of this nature may be false.

At 8:24 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a caller requesting a welfare check on her friend. The Country Club Retirement Center on Conno Mara Drive in Bellaire was her last known location. Units made contact with a sister, who called the female in question. Officers checked on her by phone, and she stated that all was well.

At 8:16 p.m. Sunday, an officer on a traffic stop on Ohio 7 north at 48th Street in Bellaire issued a warning to an Ohio motorist for speeding.

At 6:02 p.m. Sunday, a deputy was out with a jackknifed semi in the roadway on Warnock-St. Clairsville Road in St. Clairsville. The truck was registered to Greenleaf Services of Beckley, W.Va. The roadway was cleared.

At 5:36 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Barton Road in St. Clairsville issued a report of automatic gunfire in the area. Deputies responded and patrolled the area but found nothing.

At 4:59 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported that a male and female made threats to staff members at Sheetz on Addie Way in St. Clairsville. The individuals had since left. A deputy responded and spoke with the complainant, who requested a call record about the threats/harassment.

At 1:53 p.m. Sunday, a complainant from an address on Smith Avenue in Quaker City came to the station to have an officer speak to a juvenile about being unruly. Both live in Guernsey County. A deputy spoke with both and referred them to the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office if anything persists.

At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, a caller from America’s Best Value Inn on National Road in St. Clairsville requested that a male and a dog from one of the rooms be removed. Officers responded and made contact with the male, who said he would leave but requested to give up the dog as he could not afford to take care of it. Belmont County Hoof & Paw was contacted, as was the Belmont County Animal Shelter. Both refused to take the dog. The male was given a ride to a dog border, the report noted.

At 1:24 p.m. Sunday, a deputy responded to Kroger on Valley Plaza Drive in St. Clairsville for a report of a two-vehicle accident with property damage only. The caller reported that the other driver gave their driver’s license to her and left for the bank but had not returned. The deputy collected information for a report.

At 11:11 a.m. Sunday, several 911 hangup calls were received from a residence on Glencoe-Stewartsville Road in Jacobsburg. Central dispatch was unable to call the line back. A deputy responded and reported that a juvenile was playing on an iPad and dialed the number. The officer spoke with the juvenile’s grandmother before clearing the scene.

At 10:45 a.m. Sunday, a complainant from an address on Hillview Avenue in Bellaire came to the station to report threats/harassment. An officer spoke with the suspect and advised them to stop all contact. The complainant was advised of future steps to take.

At 10:22 a.m. Sunday, a deputy assisted Belmont County Hoof & Paw on a search warrant at an address on Flat Rock Road in Barnesville.
