Wood Fired Pizza Exiting Waterfront Hall In June

Waterfront Hall is on the hunt for a new food tenant, as Wood Fired Pizza will be leaving the building June 15 to focus on its mobile food business.

“We’re grateful for the friendships built over the past two years,” said Waterfront Hall founder Dan Milleson. “Wood Fired Pizza helped bring life to our crazy idea here at Waterfront Hall, and we’re wishing them the best as they continue to grow.”

Waterfront Hall is now accepting applications for a new food vendor to join its micro food hall concept in downtown Wheeling.

The turnkey 10×20 commercial kitchen is located on the first floor of Waterfront Hall, which also includes a bar, a live music venue, and a high-traffic public gathering space that hosts more than 100 concerts and private events throughout the year. Many catering opportunities are also present for the next kitchen within this space.

Waterfront Hall welcomes applications from chefs, restaurateurs, and food entrepreneurs with unique and exciting food concepts. A 10′ CaptiveAire hood system is already in place.

Applications can be submitted online at: waterfronthall.com/apply/

Applications will be accepted through April 25th, with a new vendor expected to be selected by May 1.

The new concept is expected to open August 1st, just ahead of Waterfront Hall’s annual Bluesfest at Heritage Port, August 7-9, which brings thousands of visitors to the Wheeling waterfront.

All food concepts are welcome to apply.
