THE BARNESVILLE PUMPKIN FESTIVAL COMMITTEE is selling seeds from its King Pumpkin winners from 2022, 2023, and 2024. Seeds from the 2022 King Pumpkin are available for $50 each through Dec. 31. For the 2023 champion, seeds cost $20 each or $50 for three. Seeds from the 2024 King Pumpkin are $30 apiece or $100 for a set of four. THE OHIO VALLEY PROMENADERS hold line dancing lessons at 6 p.m. and square dances and lessons at 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the Bellaire Public Library community room. The group is open to all ages. While many of the Promenaders are seasoned pros, they are always accepting new members. Newcomers can jump in quickly, as square dancing is based on walking to eight counts and the caller leads dancers on what to do in a “learn as you go” fashion.
