Bellaire finance committee meeting set June 17

BELLAIRE – The Village of Bellaire will hold a Finance Committee meeting, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held on the second floor of the municipal building.

Wheeling Twp. to hold public meeting

ST. CLAIRSVILLE – The Wheeling Township Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on the township budget on June 29 at 6 p.m. at 71240 Main St., St. Clairsville.

The hearing will be held in Fairpoint. The end-of-the-month regular township meeting will immediately follow.

JVS Board to meet June 30

BLOOMINGDALE – The Jefferson County Joint Vocational School District Board of Education will hold its regular meeting Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held in the boardroom at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School, 1509 County Highway 22A.

Libraries offer crafts, StoryWalks and summer programs

STEUBENVILLE – The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County is offering a series of summer programs, crafts and activities across its branches.

Beginning June 29, patrons can pick up a patriotic Grab-and-Go craft in time for the July 4 celebration. The craft is provided by the Friends of PLSJ.

The library will also host Paint & Paws at Richmond Park June 28 from 1-3 p.m., featuring a StoryWalk, a Grab-and-Go craft, refreshments from Vandy’s Sugar Shack and dog treats from Hachi’s Bakery. The Jefferson County Humane Society will have kittens available for adoption.

At the Main Library, a new StoryWalk featuring “Diary of a Worm” by Doreen Cronin will begin in July at Beatty Park. Children may pick up a prize after completing the walk.

— Book club discussion of “All Boys Aren’t Blue” June 30 at Schiappa Branch at 6 p.m.

— Fold3 military e-resource program July 1 at 2 p.m. at Schiappa Branch

— Thriller book club at Tiltonsville Branch June 30 at 5:30 p.m.

— Dinosaur Bingo at Tiltonsville June 30 at 6 p.m.

— Dinosaur Bingo at Toronto Branch July 1 at 2:30 p.m. — 60s Trivia Night at Toronto Branch June 30 at 5:30 p.m.
