UMWA Local 1304 to meet Aug. 1
HOPEDALE -- UMWA Local 1304 will hold its regular meeting Aug. 1 at the Hopedale American Legion, 48225 Rabbit Road, Hopedale.
Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m., with the meeting scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
Bridgeport school board schedules special meeting
BRIDGEPORT -- The Bridgeport Exempted Village School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at the Bridgeport Administration Office, 55781 National Road.
The meeting will serve as a work session to discuss the Bridge ribbon-cutting ceremony. No voting action will be taken.
Belmont College board to meet Aug. 8
ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- The Belmont College Board of Trustees will hold its next meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Belmont College Executive Offices, 68627 Bannock Road.

Yorkville produce distribution dates announced
YORKVILLE -- The Yorkville Produce Distribution has announced its 2026 schedule, with monthly distributions planned Saturdays from April through October.
New directors Robbie Criss and Ronica Criss, along with their four daughters, announced the schedule and apologized for the late notice, noting it is their first year serving in the role. They said they are working under the guidance of Pastor David Forsythe of Gateway Apostolic Church.
Distribution dates are Aug. 8, Sept. 12 and Oct. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Flushing Township announces meeting schedule
FLUSHING -- Flushing Township trustees will hold regular meetings at 7 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month in 2026 at the Flushing Township Garage.
If a meeting date is rescheduled, the public will be notified.
Mental Health and Recovery Board report available
ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- The Mental Health and Recovery Board announced its FY2025 annual board report is available.
Copies may be picked up at the board office, 104 Newell Ave., St. Clairsville, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Warwood church announces baked steak dinner
WHEELING -- Warwood United Methodist Church, 1438 Warwood Ave., will serve a homemade baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 28.
The meal will include baked steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, applesauce, rolls and a choice of dessert. The cost is $16.
Meals will be available for dine-in or carryout. Following dinner, attendees can visit the farmers market in Garden Park and stay for a free concert featuring Brother Randall performing bluegrass music.
