Chevy Chase event at Capitol Theatre canceled

WHEELING — The scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 9, show at the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling featuring A Live Conversation with Chevy Chase following a screening of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” has been cancelled. Officials on Monday stated that they were informed that the cancellation was “due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.” Refunds will be automatically issued at the point of sale. The promoter issued “apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”

BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT At 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy responded to Barnesville-Hendrysburg Road near Harry Dew Road in Barnesville at the request of the Ohio State Highway Patrol to check on a motor vehicle crash.
