The Belmont County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday arrests in several cases over the past few days, including the seizure of more than 140 grams of fentanyl. In October 2025, the Sheriff’s Criminal Interdiction Unit began an investigation into Michael Scott Lucas, 44, of Bridgeport, Ohio, for allegedly trafficking in drugs. A caller was reportedly assaulted by her husband and was able to go to her neighbor’s house to call 911.
