One of two men charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman inside her Smith Township , Pa., home in June said he and his accomplice were looking to rob her when the home invasion turned deadly. At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy went with an emergency medical service squad to WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital with a female inmate of the Belmont County Jail who was possibly in labor. FEMA application period ends Monday

TRIADELPHIA — Those in Ohio County who still must register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to receive relief from the deadly June floods have until the end of Monday to do so. Applying in person no longer is an option. The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center at the Triadelphia Community Center closed Friday evening. Yet there are still multiple ways to apply.
