BELLAIRE — The Belmont County Drug Task Force arrested three people today while serving warrants throughout the area.

John McFarland, task force commander and chief of Martins Ferry Police Department, said a warrant was served at 4166 Franklin St., Bellaire. He said evidence was collected at that location but no arrests were made.

A second search was conducted at 700 41st St., Apartment 20, Bellaire. According to mcFarland, officers seized about $2,300 in cash and 35 grams of suspected cocaine at that address.

Hubert Lee Frazier, Lisa Heatherington and Michael Heatherington all were arrested at the 41st Street location. McFarland said all were charged with first degree felonies including trafficking in drugs and possession of controlled substances.
