Belmont County Fair underway
The 2019 Belmont County Fair officially kicked off today with the opening ceremony held at noon at the Robinson Stage on the fairgrounds near the Belmont County Carnes Center near St. Clairsville. Tuesday was a day filled with plenty of work and fun, as many participates and exhibitors were busy setting up or taking care of livestock. Winners of this year’s Belmont County Jr. Fair Royalty included Heidi Hull of Belmont (duchess winner), Alyssa Betts of Bethesda (queen winner), Delaney Butler of Bethesda (princess winner), Carson Phillips of Bethesda (duke winner), Brock Fankhauser of Bethesda (king winner), and Jacob Theaker of Martins Ferry (prince winner). The fair continues through Sunday afternoon.
