Daytime closures on Ohio 9

A crew member with Ohio Department of Transportation blocks the roadway for crews performing tree trimming work on Ohio 9 Monday morning in New Athens. The road will be closed for five days during daytime hours from the Harrison/Belmont County line to the Ohio 9/Ohio 149 intersection south of New Athens. Ohio 9 will be closed from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Friday. The recommended detour is U.S. 40 west to Ohio 331, Ohio 331 west to Ohio 149, Ohio 149 north to Ohio 9, and reverse.
