BARNESVILLE — Interstate 70 east was closed Wednesday evening as the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a pair of crashes at mile markers 203 and 207.

Although a dispatcher said one accident was cleared up quickly, the other resulted in serious injuries. Traffic was being rerouted through Barnesville as responders tended to victims at the scene. No additional details were immediately available.
