At 10:28 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an address on Morristown Street, Flushing, on a request for a welfare check on a female who had been involved in a domestic situation the previous night. Upon arrival, an officer reported both a male and a female there were intoxicated and neither wanted to say what was going on, according to the report.

At 8:21 p.m. Thursday, a deputy responded to Glenwood Village Apartments, Belmont Street, Bethesda, for a report of a breaking and entering. The screen was missing and the blinds were messed up, according to the report, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

At 4:55 p.m. Thursday, officers were at Knights Inn, National Road, St. Clairsville, attempting to serve misdemeanor warrants. Three people were taken into custody and taken to jail. One firearm was seized as well, according to the report.

At 5:23 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to the Kroger parking lot, Ohio Valley Plaza, St. Clairsville, for a report of a couple arguing in a vehicle with a child in the back seat. After arriving on the scene, officers reported they did not locate the vehicle.

At 3:46 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to Little E’s Towing, Warnock Road, St. Clairsville, for a report of a gun found in a vehicle that was repossessed. The owner was located, and a sergeant reportedly returned a wallet and guns to him, according to the report.

At 4:20 p.m. Thursday, a caller from Kroger, Valley Plaza Drive, St. Clairsville, reported a male stole alcohol twice within 30 minutes two days prior. A deputy responded to take information for a report.

At 3:55 p.m. Thursday, central dispatch reported a caller at an address on National Road, Lansing reported a groundhog appeared to be sick in her backyard. A deputy responded, and the sheriff’s office advised they could cancel the call — it was a log in the yard, according to the report.

At 1:03 p.m. Thursday, a deputy responded to a request for assistance from the Barkcamp State Park Office, Belmont, for a report of a missing 19-year-old male. The male was located shortly afterward and declined medical treatment. At 1:20 p.m., the officer reported the Ohio Department of Natural Resources was notified that he was found.

At 6:08 p.m. Wednesday, a deputy responded to Vandyne Restaurant, Ferrylanding, Shadyside, for a report of a theft of cash by an employee.
