THE OHIO State Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-skip accident that involved three vehicles at about 2 p.m. Tuesday. The crash took place in the southbound lanes of Ohio 7 near the North Lincoln Avenue exit between Bridgeport and Aetnaville. One vehicle came to rest off the roadway while another was blocking the left lane of Ohio 7 southbound. According to a trooper, the third vehicle failed to stop and continued southbound. One minor injury was reported; the victim was transported to Wheeling Hospital. Traffic was backed up for several minutes.
