Five arrested on drug charges in Martins Ferry
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — Law enforcement officers seized drugs, cash and a stolen tractor when they searched a Martins Ferry home Thursday.
Members of the Belmont County Sheriff’s Criminal Interdiction Unit and detectives with the Major Crimes Unit made five arrests and seized a large amount of drugs when they executed a warrant on the Runner residence.
According to law enforcement, more than half a pound of suspected methamphetamine and around $10,000 cash were seized during the search.
A tractor stolen from Harrison County was also recovered during the search.
Roger “Buck” Runner, 54, of Ohio Street, Martins Ferry was charged with first-degree felony trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, and third-degree felony receiving stolen property.
Ricky David Runner, 59, of the same address was charged with fifth-degree felony possession of drugs and third-degree felony receiving stolen property.
Jennifer Lauren Fisher, 38, of Cindy Drive, St. Clairsville was charged with first-degree felony possession of drugs.
Christopher Risinger, 33, of Spring, Texas, was charged with second-degree felony trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs.
Kanda Henry, 19, of Wheeling was charged with second-degree felony trafficking in drugs.
Deputies were alerted to the suspected drug operation by tips from the public. Bridgeport police assisted the officers.
