Ohio 7 northbound was closed briefly on Tuesday afternoon following an accident involving a semi truck and a personal vehicle. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the semi truck “jackknifed,” or folded in on itself, to block both lanes. The crash occurred at about 11:44 a.m. and one lane was opened shortly after noon. The patrol, Martins Ferry and Yorkville police arrived on scene along with first responders. No one was transported for medical attention. The accident is under investigation.
