Easter and springtime events are scheduled for Saturday, and the public is invited to celebrate:
∫ Ideal Provisions will hold a "Feaster Fest" from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Martins Ferry City Park. There will be food trucks, games, inflatables and a craft fair.
∫ The St. Clairsville High School cheerleaders will hold a "Bunny Breakfast" from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Clairsville Elementary School, 120 Norris St.
∫ A Spring Break Blast will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Martins Ferry Veterans Memorial Recreation Center. Metal and punk bands from around Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania will play. Admission is $12 per person.
∫ Ready, Aim Fire Ceramics Studio will hold classes 5-8 p.m. at 418 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. The class fee includes workspace, all materials and instruction.
∫ The Farmhouse on 40 is inviting the public to "Hop on over" for an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 43497 National Road, Belmont. There is no charge to participate, and every child will receive a unique egg design to search for in order to collect a dozen eggs filled with special treats. Bags to decorate and collect eggs will be provided and children of all ages are welcome. The Easter Bunny will be on hand.
∫ The village of Bethesda is holding an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. in Epworth Park near the Judy Jenewein Shelter. There will be four age groups, and each age group will receive larger prizes that will be raffled off after the hunt. The Easter Bunny will be on site to visit and take pictures.
∫ Every day this week, the Salvation Army of Belmont County has been hiding three golden eggs in the village of Bellaire. The prize for finding the egg is a $25 Kroger's gift card and a box of food.
