Sally Buffalo Park to host Elvis tribute, car show as part as Mark At The Park

CADIZ -- Sally Buffalo Park is hosting a free Elvis Presley tribute concert and car show on Sunday as part of the Mark At The Park Summer Concert Series presented by WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital.
The car cruise-in will take place from 1-5 p.m. at Wallace Lodge, and Mike Albert and the Big "E" Band Elvis Tribute Concert will start at 2 p.m. at the new outdoor stage "The Mark."
The stage does not have seating, so attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
A variety of food truck vendors including Ross Mountain BBQ and Ice Cream Island will be providing concessions during the event. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own beer.
The car show will feature both classic and modern cars. Whiteside Chevrolet, Buick and GMC new models will be on display during the event. For more information about the cruise-in or to enter a vehicle, contact Gary Dodds, owner of Gary's Body Shop in Cadiz, at 740-942-2444.
The concert will be moved to Wallace Lodge in the event of rain.
The Mike Albert and the Big "E" Band Elvis Tribute Concert is presented by Tony's Treasures Productions, a local business that features a professional recording studio and offers many services including concert and event promotion, video production, graphic design and copyright consulting. WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital is the platinum sponsor for the Mark At The Park Summer Concert Series.
Donations will be accepted at the event to benefit the Harrison County Tourism Council.

Aug. 9 - The Ark Band - Reggae - 6:30-8 p.m.
Aug. 20 - Matt O'Ree Band - Blues Rock - 6:30-8 p.m.
Aug. 23 - Tongue 'N Cheek - 6:30- 8 p.m.
Sept. 6 - Crandall Creek - 6:30- 8 p.m.
Sept. 20 - North to Nashville - 6:30- 8 p.m.
Albert has performed internationally as an Elvis impersonator. In the past, Albert has toured with vocal groups that originally backed Elvis, including the Jordanaires and J.D. Sumner and The Stamps Quartet. The Big "E" Band strives to recreate the sound of Elvis' band in his Las Vegas shows. He performed in Bethesda earlier this year.

Country music legend Neal McCoy headlined the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the new outdoor stage "The Mark" at Sally Buffalo Park on June 1. The stage was designed by Mark Puskarich and Kelly Architectural Services and constructed by local contractor Border Patrol Construction.
