ST. CLAIRSVILLE -- The 174th Belmont County Fair will kick off on Sept. 3, and fair-goers can enjoy entertainment, rides, concessions and animal shows until the fair closes on Sept. 11.
The fair will take place at the Belmont County Fairgrounds, located along Roscoe Road west of St. Clairsville.
The Belmont County Fair has been a family tradition since 1849. Attendees can see livestock exhibitions featuring rabbits, cows, horses, goats, chickens and more. The fair will also provide live entertainment for all ages along with carnival games and amusement rides.
The county fair is organized by the Belmont County Agricultural Society, and planners said each year the Senior and Junior Fair Boards put in countless hours of planning and preparation to make it a success.
